Terms of Service

Last updated: 20 July 2026

These terms are the agreement between you and Altitude. By creating an account or using the app, you accept them. If you don't, please don't use Altitude.

Zero tolerance. Altitude puts strangers in a shared chat. Harassment, hate speech, sexual content, threats, and spam are not allowed, and accounts that post them are removed. Every message can be reported, and every user can be blocked. We review reports within 24 hours.

1. Who can use Altitude

You must be at least 16 years old, and able to enter a binding agreement. One account per person. You're responsible for what happens under your account.

2. Your account

You sign in with your email address and a one-time code. Keep access to that mailbox secure. You can delete your account at any time from Profile → Delete account; deletion is permanent.

3. Acceptable use

You agree not to:

Cabins are shared with real people sitting near you on an aircraft. Behave as you would in that cabin.

4. Content you post

You keep ownership of what you write. You grant us the limited licence needed to store your content and display it to the other passengers on your flight — nothing more. We don't use your content for advertising, and we don't sell it.

You are responsible for what you post, and you confirm you have the right to post it.

5. Reporting, blocking and enforcement

Every message can be reported (long-press a message → Report), and any user can be blocked (long-press → Block), which immediately hides their messages from you.

We review reports of objectionable content within 24 hours and may remove content, suspend, or permanently remove accounts. Serious cases — threats, content involving minors, credible danger — may be referred to the authorities. We don't require a reason to remove content that violates section 3.

If you think we got it wrong, email [email protected].

6. Flight information is not an offer

Altitude shows flight prices, schedules, gates and delays sourced from third parties. This information can be wrong, stale, or unavailable. It is not an offer, a booking, or a guarantee. Always confirm with the airline before relying on it. We are not a travel agency, we do not sell tickets, and we are not responsible for anything you book elsewhere.

7. The AI concierge

Altitude includes an AI assistant that answers travel questions and helps reconstruct past flights. Like all such systems it can be confidently wrong. Treat its answers as a starting point, not as fact, and verify anything that matters. Flights you add through the Memory Excavator are unverified entries you supply; they are labelled as such and earn no badges or points.

8. Availability

Altitude is provided as-is. We don't promise it will be uninterrupted or error-free, and we may change or discontinue features. We'll try to give notice when a change matters.

9. Liability

To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or consequential losses — including missed flights, missed connections, or costs arising from inaccurate flight information or from your interactions with other users. Nothing here limits liability that cannot be limited by law, including for death, personal injury, or fraud caused by us.

10. Ending the agreement

You can stop using Altitude and delete your account at any time. We can suspend or close an account that breaks these terms, or where required by law.

11. Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of the operator's country of residence, and disputes will be heard by its courts, unless mandatory consumer-protection law in your country gives you the right to bring a claim locally.

12. Changes

We'll update the date above when these terms change, and notify you in the app if the change is material. Continuing to use Altitude after that means you accept the new terms.
